Project Manager Has ultimate responsibility for construction and financial activities through administrative direction and coordination of field project staff. The project manager maintains liaison with the client and manages the budget, project procurement, schedule, and quality objectives of the project. Assistant Project Manager Assists the Project Manager in reviewing and monitoring the development of design drawings, providing an assessment of their effect on cost, schedule, and construction feasibility; coordinates budget estimates, trade schedules and bidder lists; coordinates scheduling, purchasing, procurement and installation of long lead items, special equipment and client furnished items; and directs the preparation of subcontract packages. Estimator Responsible for the cost estimating of the project. Provides the latest cost information, including material costs and labor availability, estimates and assists in the evaluation of the most efficient systems and materials. Throughout the design phase, value analysis ensures that the design is the most cost effective, consistent with project goals. Project Superintendent Responsible for the scheduling and execution of all construction activities. Coordinates, expedites, monitors all project construction; and supervises the performance of subcontractors. Other responsibilities include monitoring of EEO and minority participation goals, implementing and controlling the safety program, facilitating quality control and verification procedures, and directing the preparation and maintenance of daily records. Assistant Superintendent Assists the Project Superintendent by providing liaison and expediting services between subcontractors and monitoring the performance of each.
